Fondue You

How 'bout that weekend? Ha - what weekend? The past two weekends have flown by and I'm not a fan.

I had a nice to-do list to conquer on Saturday but with one text my list went out the window. It ended up being a decent day with good friends. Plus there was fondue.

Everything is better with fondue

Sunday was relaxing as well. Since my Giants aren't in the playoffs I've pretty much stopped paying attention to what's going on. However, I was hoping the Seahawks would be the Falcons and I really wanted the Texans to beat the Pats.

Clearly nothing went my way this weekend.

I did, however, start 2 new books. The goal for this year is 60. Pretty lofty don't ya think? We'll see how it goes. School usually gets in the way of pleasure reading but I'm determined. I've got 4 books to be read as soon as I can. Casual Vacany, Retail Hell (I used to work for Nordstrom so I think I'll find this particularly entertaining), The Choice and Jeneration X

In case you haven't heard the Mini Messy Project launches in 2 short days!
I'm so excited to be a part of the January group.

Messy Mini Project

Make sure to check back on Wednesday for the big reveal!

That fondue looks amazing. I love making cheese fondue with some dippers (toasted garlic bread, pretzels, apples, etc), then finishing the meal off with chocolate fondue and some sweet dippers (fruits, graham crackers, marshmallows, Oreos, etc).

Also, 60 books is a great goal. I need to make a goal like that for myself so I read more. Time: I need more of it, stat.

It's a shame your plans fell through a bit, but you still had a decent day. So I guess it's not all so bad.

Couldn't have said it better, fondue does make everything better and it's totally worthy of ditching a day's worth of to-do's for. Looking forward to your big reveal!

FONDUE IS THE BOMB. But I'm a cheese fondue girl. I make a zinfandel-roasted garlic-cheddar fondue that is crazy-good. If I wasn't sick as a damn dog, I'd crave some right now. At 8 in the morning. Yep. That good.
