Ankle Biter

Happy Friday boys and bitches!

First, I want to say hello and welcome to all the newbies. I'm happy to have you!

Second, I need this weekend. I need to relax, recharge, and get my life in order for the week. Here's a glimpse at my to-do list...

However, before I get to all that fun I felt the need to share another fashion secret with all of you.

Last week I saw a woman rocking this style. I also saw another on my way to work Tuesday. I think I have a love/hate relationship with it. But I still kind of want to try it.

This? I love!

Don't get me wrong. I love cropped pants with flats or heels. I wear this often in the spring and summer. So much so that I plan on buying more colors this year.

But this....

This... I don't know.

I'm tall so I feel like I could easily pull this off. My problem with it is the exposed ankle. I know. Completely contradicting statements right? You see, I kind of have an irrational issue with my ankles being exposed. Because I'm tall I'm forever seeking out long or tall length pants. Regular length looks like I bought pants that are too short and therefore my ankle is exposed when I don't want or mean for it to be. #tallpeopleproblems

But overall, I kind of love it. I think it's fashionable as it shows off adorable booties/pumps/wedges.

My other issue is that, well, it's 21 degrees today. The high is 27. I despise being cold. Even more than that I hate when it's this cold and windy. Thus! I don't know if I can deal with having exposed ankles!

See.... love/hate.

So, what say you? Should I attempt it despite my cold ankles, or should I just wait until it's a bit warmer?

**********

And the reason you're all here.... the reveal of the giveaway winner!

Congrats to Lorraine from Late to the Party! I've sent you an e-mail and you have 48 hours to respond.

Happy Weekend!

I'm split on the high on the ankle length pants as well, for the same reasons! I have spend the better part of my post 12 year old life paying extra to have my pants come in LONG length #tallgirlproblems All I have to do to get this look is by regular length jeans and viola..I'm in style!

I think you should go for it. Part of the point of this is to be fearless and if you have these feelings towards exposed ankles, well exposing them would be quite fearless of you.

P.S It's good to know some people have problems with exposed ankles, even if it's not because of the same reasons Victorian's didn't like them.

I think I need to try cropped pants too. But for some reason I always feel like they are kiddish. But with the outfits you shared above I think i may have to give it a try!

Thanks for stopping by Fearless Fashion Fridays!

I'm short, so I can pull off option #1, but #2 I'm not a fan of the print, and #3 I would look like a leprechaun. Haha. I would say go for it, but I don't know about cold ankles...I'd wait!

I can't do the short-pant thing. My legs are too long and gangly. I just look like I'm wearing pants from 9th grade.

But if you try it, post pics! I will admire jealously from afar.

I'M SO LATE COMMENTING HERE. But I've been locked away not having a life outside of a Calculus class. WEE.
